If you want to see a rainbow you have to learn to see the rain.

True spoken by two of our contemporary thinkers’ finest: Paulo Coelho and Dolly Parton. I finally made it through some very rainy days (figuratively speaking), and finally passed the exam I’ve been struggling with, and not only passed it. I went from failing one after another, ending in total nervous breakdown the week before my last try, and occasional breakdowns in the days following the exam, to passing with marks that exceeded any expectations. I didn’t get an A, to me, an E would’ve felt just the same.

I don’t feel like telling here what I got, but it feels very good all the same, and I’m going to do something that’s really very un-Norwegian (the exception being Northug) and say that it was a good mark, and I’m most deserving of it.

“And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”

P. Coelho

There must be something to this quote, because I had quite a few people hoping I’d pass, and I finally did, so now I can focus on more important things. Like my next trip to The Emerald Isle, whenever that’ll be.
